Description
An antique long-handled agricultural tool, specifically a two-tine hay fork or pitching fork. The tool features a hand-turned wooden handle with a rounded top and a dark, aged patina. The head consists of two forged metal tines that curve outward from a central neck and terminate in sharp points. A tapered metal ferrule connects the forged head to the wooden handle. The metal ferrule shows two recessed circular marks; the upper mark contains a stylized character resembling a circle with a diagonal slash.
