Description
This lot consists of twothree-ring school binders from the mid-1970s featuring graphic reproductions of Marvel Comics cover art. The first binder displays the cover of Captain America issue number 193, dated January 1976. The cover art is credited to Jack Kirby and John Romita Senior and features the story title Madbomb. A side panel collage includes characters such as the Hulk, Human Torch, Vision, Thor, The Thing, Spider-Man, and Scarlet Witch. The second binder features the cover of The Mighty Thor issue number 229, dated November 1974, with the story title God of Thunder, Night of Doom. The side panel collage includes the Hulk, Captain America, Vision, Spider-Man, and Iron Man. Both binders are constructed of white textured vinyl over stiff boards with printed illustrations and are equipped with white plastic three-ring mechanisms.
