Description
Atwo-piece covered dish in opaque white milk glass. The lid is molded in the form of a nesting hen with textured feathering on the body and tail, alongside a defined comb and beak. The oval base is decorated with a basketweave pattern around the exterior lower half. The interior bottom of the base displays an embossed maker mark consisting of a large H with a smaller A nested underneath, identifying the piece as a product of the Hazel Atlas Glass Company.
