Description
twofelt pennants. The larger pennant is a Cleveland Indians baseball souvenir constructed of dark felt with red printed graphics. The design features a caricature mascot in a batting stance and the city name Cleveland in cursive script. Red felt tassels are attached at the hoist edge. A handwritten label on the protective sleeve identifies the piece as being from the 1930s. The second item is a smaller red felt advertising pennant for Morrow bicycle brakes. It features yellow screen-printed text that reads Keep Fit the Easy Way. Cycle Glide Every Day On a Bike With a Morrow Brake. This pennant includes two pairs of yellow felt ties at the hoist. Both items are housed in clear plastic sleeves and bear auction inventory labels.
