Description
A carved wood folk art bird figurine, likely depicting a duck or goose, featuring applied metal wing panels. The stylized form is constructed with a segmented, tapered tail and a simple incised eye. The two wing panels, likely copper or brass, are secured to the sides of the body with small pins. The wooden surfaces are finished with a distressed green and yellow paint. No maker marks or signatures are present on the exterior surfaces shown. An auction tag from Atlee Raber Auctions is attached to the neck of the piece, bearing the handwritten number 99 and a barcode numbered 245.
