Description
Remington model R2253-D Double Strike Copperhead pattern pocket knife, produced in 2010 as a limited edition of 250 pieces. This specific specimen is serial numbered 130 on the front bolster. The folding knife features a two-blade configuration consisting of a clip point main blade and a spey secondary blade. Both blades are forged from 416-layer high-definition Ladder Damascus steel and are tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 56-59. Construction details include brass liners and polished nickel silver bolsters. The handles are crafted from jigged bone in a Tree Bark pattern dyed a dark amber brown, featuring an inlaid nickel silver Bullet shield. The front tang of the main blade bears a circular Remington UMC Made in USA stamp, while the secondary blade features a long nail pull. This item is presented with its original commemorative factory box and a Remington Collectors Edition registration certificate.
