Description
This is a Kalamazoo Sled Company B and B Cab model convertible child’s push-sled and stroller. The piece is constructed with a wooden seat, backrest, armrests, and a rear push handle. The structural frame and runners are made of red-painted metal. It features a retractable wheel mechanism with four black wheels, designed to allow the unit to transition between a traditional sled for snow and a stroller for dry pavement. The center vertical slat of the backrest is marked with a circled letter K hallmark above stylized letters B and B, with the word CAB printed below. Decorative red-painted heart symbols bisected by vertical lines are present on the three horizontal seat slats and the two outer backrest slats. A webbing safety strap remains attached to the seat area.
