Description
This lot features a Coleman Model 290 CLX Adjustable liquid fuel lantern accompanied by its original red plastic carrying case. The lantern is constructed with a dark green enameled metal fuel fount mounted on a black plastic base. It features a gold-tone metal collar with a black plastic control knob labeled LOW and HIGH. The clear glass globe is protected by a dark green enameled metal ventilator cap and a silver-tone metal bail handle. Labels on the fount and collar identify the manufacturer as Coleman and the model as CLX ADJUSTABLE. The glass globe is marked with the Coleman logo and the partial text USED ON 220, 228, 275. The coordinating red textured plastic case features a molded Coleman logo with the spruce tree emblem and a PUSH/PULL latch mechanism at the base. The lantern uses a double mantle system and is designed for liquid fuel.
