Description
A small cast iron kettle constructed with a squat, bulbous body and a short, integral spout. The vessel features a swivel-style lid secured by a single-point hinge. It is equipped with a wire bail handle that includes a large, coiled wire cool-touch grip intended for use on a stove or hearth. The item is finished in black and resembles traditional wood stove humidifiers or tea kettles. No manufacturer marks, brand names, or model numbers are visible on the exterior or interior of the piece. A white paper auction tag from Atlee Raber Auctions is attached to the wire handle identifying the item as lot 102.
