Description
This is a baseball catcher’s mitt manufactured by Cambridge. The glove is designed for a right-handed thrower to be worn on the left hand. It is constructed from brown cowhide leather with heavy lacing around the perimeter and through the pocket area. The palm center is stamped with the Cambridge brand name in script, followed by model number E-905 and the designation MAJOR LEAGUE MODEL. To the right side of the palm, the phrase PROFESSIONAL MODEL is stamped in large stylized block letters. A circular stamp in the lower palm area reads GUARANTEED GENUINE TOP GRAIN COWHIDE. The thumb area features the stamp PRO PLAYER MODEL. The name JOE LYNCH is handwritten in black ink on the outer leather strip of the thumb and index finger section.
