Description
This is a 1/16 scale die-cast metal model representing a John Deere horse-drawn Gilpin sulky plow. The model is finished in signature John Deere green with red spoked wheels. The construction includes a single-bottom moldboard plow, a perforated operator seat, and a long hitch tongue designed for a horse team. It is equipped with two large rotating red wheels and a smaller leveling wheel. Several identifying marks are present: the green moldboard features a yellow decal with the leaping deer logo and text reading JOHN DEERE MOLINE, ILL. The frame features yellow lettering reading DEERE and GILPIN. The hitch tongue includes embossed text on one side reading ACHIEVING THE VISION and the reverse side reading JOHN DEERE AFTER MARKET 2000.
