A glimpse into the life of WWI era soldier, Ohio native, Sgt William Dillman (Co. L 6th/147th US Infantry) through military postcards he sent to Mabel McGurer…some of the images have his hand written notations including Camp Pershing in El Paso Texas, Camp Sheridan in Montgomery Alabama, Camp Merritt, Camp Sherman, Fort Riley, parade image of the Band of the 6th Ohio, William with his fellow soldiers, a few images of him at home in Ohio, one of Mabel wearing his uniform and images of military life in camp.
