Description
A collection of decorative brass items featuring a variety of forms and traditional ornamentation. The group includes several vases characterized by flared rims, slender necks, and pedestal bases. These vases are decorated with intricate hand-etched foliate and geometric patterns, some of which contain traces of red and black pigment within the incised lines. Also present is a group of lidded vessels, including teapots and sugar bowls. The teapots feature curved spouts and C-scroll handles, with etched motifs depicting birds, floral arrangements, and fruit. One teapot lid bears a circular yin-yang symbol rendered in a stippled etching technique. The sugar bowls are equipped with twin handles and domed lids topped with simple finials.
