Description
This lot features four fixed-blade knives of various international origins and patterns. The collection includes a Japanese survival knife, an American hunting knife, a Finnish fillet knife, and a German Bowie knife. The Japanese survival-style knife features a clip point blade with a serrated spine. The tang is impressed with the block characters P.I.C. over NO. 13658 over JAPAN. It is constructed with a stacked leather washer handle that has been modified or repaired at the terminal end with a section of turned wood secured by a large hexagonal metal nut. It is accompanied by a brown leather sheath with a front sharpening stone pouch. The American hunting knife features a clip point blade. The tang is impressed with the block characters RANGER over MADE IN U.S.A. over PAT 1,967,476. The handle is made of stacked leather washers accented by red, black, and cream-colored spacers and is finished with a polished aluminum pommel. It includes a matching brown leather sheath. The Finnish fillet knife is equipped with a narrow, flexible blade. The blade face is printed with black characters reading FISKARS over STAINLESS FINLAND. The knife has a textured black synthetic handle with an ergonomic finger guard. It is housed in a black plastic sheath that features an integrated V-shaped ceramic sharpening element in a central cutout. The German Bowie-style knife features a traditional clip point blade. The blade face is etched in script with the characters Original Bowie Knife. The tang is impressed vertically with the block characters SOLINGEN over GERMANY.
