Lot 225:
Carved & Painted Laundry Pennant Sign
Sold for: $25
Description
A large architectural wall sign constructed from wood in a pennant shape. The sign features a deep burgundy field with a heavily textured, sandblasted finish that emphasizes the horizontal wood grain. The word LAUNDRY is presented in bold, white, sans-serif block letters rendered in a raised bas-relief style. The central maroon field is framed by a painted cream border that follows the contours of the sign, including a subtle downward curve along the bottom edge. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are present on the front or visible edges. Two small mounting holes are located at the far left and right ends, and a metal eyelet for hanging is attached to the upper left corner. 72.5×11
