Description
This lot features two American adjustable wooden hand screw clamps of varying sizes. The smaller clamp is a Jorgensen brand Size 1, constructed with hardwood jaws, dual steel threaded spindles, and turned wooden handles fitted with steel ferrules. The upper jaw bears a black ink stamp that reads 1 TRADE MARK Jorgensen REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A. The second clamp is a larger tool of similar construction with hardwood jaws and steel threaded spindles. One jaw of this larger clamp features an impressed mark that is not legible as a specific name. The wood on this larger clamp has developed a dark, aged patina.
