Description
This lot consists of two antique American hand tools from the late 19th or early 20th century. The first is an adjustable monkey wrench manufactured by the Bemis and Call Hardware and Tool Company. The tool features a forged steel body and a wooden handle secured with two brass rivets. The maker mark BEMIS & CALL H & T CO is stamped within a recessed panel on the shank. The second tool is a hand-cranked eggbeater style drill featuring a cast brass or bronze frame and a large drive wheel with a distinctive S-spoke design. It includes beveled gears with two pinions, a knurled chuck, and turned dark wood handles for the main grip, crank, and side knob. 14×18
