Description
23 in diamter. A large, hand-carved decorative bowl or platter fashioned from a single, irregular cross-section of teak root wood. The piece features a shallow, circular recessed well surrounded by a wide, live-edge rim that retains the natural contours, knots, and voids of the original timber. The wood is finished in a honey-brown tone that highlights the concentric growth rings, swirling grain, and localized burl-like figuring. The underside is carved with a broad, shallow foot. No maker marks, signatures, or stamps are visible. A blank white rectangular paper inventory tag is attached to the rim.
