Description
65 inches tall. A black-painted wrought iron floor display stand accompanied by a collection of five assorted decorative baskets. The stand features a central vertical pole topped with a decorative heart-shaped finial and is equipped with multiple hooks at varying heights. The base is composed of four spreading legs terminating in scrolled feet. The lot of five baskets includes one large natural wicker basket with a fixed arched handle; one green-painted wicker basket with a tall, double-twisted overhead handle and a flared rim; one rectangular woven wood basket featuring two fixed handles and a red and green plaid fabric liner; one tapered round woven wood basket with a dark red decorative band; and one small round woven wood basket with colored bands in shades of pink and orange, containing a white floral-patterned fabric liner. The woven wood baskets are executed in the American Country style, resembling the work of manufacturers like Longaberger. No maker marks, stamps, or labels were observed on the stand or the baskets. A blank white paper tag is attached to the finial.
