Description
A limited edition three-piece collectible set titled Snow White and Rose Red, produced in 1987. This collaboration features two dolls designed by Suzanne Gibson for Reeves International and a teddy bear produced by Margarete Steiff GmbH. The set is numbered 333 of a limited edition of 2,000 pieces. The Snow White doll features a blonde wig and fixed blue eyes with applied eyelashes. She is dressed in her original white gown with mesh sleeves and white ribbon rose accents. The Rose Red doll features a dark brown wig secured with a hairnet and fixed dark eyes with applied eyelashes. She is dressed in her original red and pink floral patterned gown adorned with red ribbon roses. Both dolls are constructed of vinyl or a similar hard composition material. The Steiff teddy bear is fully jointed and crafted from brown mohair. It features a black hand-stitched nose and mouth, brown safety eyes, and a white ribbon around its neck. The bear retains its original round white chest tag printed with Margarete Steiff Original, Snow White and Rose Red, No. 333, and Limited Edition of 2,000 pcs. 1987. It also features the signature Steiff gold-tone button in ear with a white cloth tag. The Rose Red doll retains a Suzanne Gibson Dolls from Reeves International wrist tag. The items are housed in the original printed display box.
