Description
An Art Deco style pendant necklace featuring a central shield-shaped pendant of carved green molded glass made to resemble jade. The pendant is inset with a large white button-shaped simulated pearl. The central element is flanked by butterfly-shaped gilt brass filigree spacers and connected to square-cut black glass stones in box settings. The assembly includes floral filigree panels and elongated bar links transitioning into a fine link cable chain. The necklace is secured with a spring ring clasp. The design is characteristic of early 20th-century Czechoslovakian costume jewelry, often associated with the work of the Neiger Brothers. No maker marks or metal stamps are present.
