Description
21 inches. A large vintage blow-molded plastic jack-o-lantern holiday decoration. The item features an elongated ovoid shape with molded vertical ribbing and is topped with an integrated stem painted green. The classic jack-o-lantern face consists of recessed triangular eyes, a triangular nose, and a wide, jagged smiling mouth, all of which are detailed with black paint. The main body of the piece is bright orange. A circular recessed opening is located on the back center, designed to hold a clip-in light fixture for internal illumination. While similar models are associated with manufacturers such as Empire Plastic Corp. or General Foam Plastics, no maker marks are legible on the surface of this piece. Height: 20 – 24 inches.
