Description
A collection of assorted numismatic items comprising commemorative medals, transportation tokens, merchant tokens, and world coins. Included in the group is a 1965 UK Winston Churchill commemorative Crown struck in copper-nickel (KM# 910), featuring the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and Winston Churchill on the reverse. Notable US commemorative pieces include a 1963 John F. Kennedy bronze-toned medal, a 1959 Alaska statehood souvenir dollar from the Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, and a 1965 Crawfordsville Area Centennial souvenir half-dollar. The collection also contains various tokens such as a Pontiac Chief of the Sixes General Motors merchant token, a South Bend, Indiana fare token with a central star cutout, a Good For 5c Bread aluminum token, and a Rosie’s Palace all-night check.
