Description
Two drawers and two hinged roof compartments for stashing the goods, with dancing ballerina and working music box, marked Japan on the underside and of wood construction with rock studded roof, shuttered windows and water pump, 13 1/4" x 8" x 7 1/2". 17 vintage brooches included with Napier, Avon, Sarah Cov and England marks, working closures. The winder knob for the music box is absent (wound with a pair of pliers to make sure the music box still plays – which it does), the drawers are velveteen lined, the ballerina twirls as the music plays, the mirror lining the top roof is intact, one fence rail is missing as shown.
