Description
32 x 32 An Amish-style hand-quilted and appliqued wall hanging, likely dating to the late 20th century. The piece features a central applique design depicting a basket of stylized flowers in shades of purple, pink, and dark green. This central motif is situated within a diamond-shaped border of light pink fabric with a subtle rose print. The surrounding background is composed of a teal cotton fabric with white polka dots. The construction displays extensive hand-quilting, including a cable or rope pattern in the pink border and large rose motifs in each of the four teal corners. The entire field is finished with straight horizontal quilting lines. The piece is bordered with purple fabric binding and features a plain white cotton fabric reverse.
