Description
This schoolhouse style drop-trunk regulator wall clock is produced by Montgomery Ward and Co. The case is constructed of wood with a warm oak-colored finish, featuring an octagonal top and a lower pendulum section with a glazed door. The off-white dial is marked with the Montgomery Ward and Co. logo and specifies a 30 DAY movement. It features black Roman numeral hour markers, an outer minute track with Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals, and two ornate black metal hands. The bottom edge of the dial is marked JAPAN. The movement is a 30-day, spring-driven, mechanical time-and-strike type with two winding apertures visible on the dial face. A T-shaped metal winding key and an internal pendulum rod are present. The item is contained within a cardboard shipping box with foam inserts.
