Description
A Slik-Toy Farm Implements set manufactured by the Lansing Company of Muscatine, Iowa. This set consists of a red tractor, modeled after an International Harvester Farmall, and a matching red two-wheeled trailer or wagon. Both items are constructed of cast metal, as indicated by the All Metal branding on the packaging, and feature black tires. The tractor and wagon are designed for manual free-wheeling play. The set is housed in its original cardboard open-faced retail display box. Printed text on the box top includes Slik-Toy Farm Implements, All Metal, and Realistic. A shield logo on the box top reads Slik-Toy Armor Muscatine Iowa. The front edge of the box features promotional text reading Rust Resistant, All Metal, Durable, and Perfect for That Young Sand Box Farmer. The back of the box is stamped with the model number 1245. An auction house label from Middlefield Antiques is affixed to the interior floor of the box.
