Description
A collection of four clear pressed glass citrus juicers and reamers, characteristic of American Depression-era kitchenware. The group includes one two-piece juicer set consisting of a measuring-cup style pitcher base with horizontal ribbing, a pouring spout, and an applied handle, paired with a removable clear glass reamer insert featuring seed-straining holes around the base of the cone. Also included is a single-piece deep-dish juicer featuring an integrated central reamer cone, vertical ribbing on the exterior, a pouring spout, and a small tab handle. Two individual reamer inserts complete the lot; these are designed to sit atop a pitcher or jar and feature central cones, seed-straining slots, and small tab handles. One of the separate inserts features more pronounced vertical ribbing on the outer rim compared to the other. These items are constructed from heavy clear pressed glass. No maker marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces. Similar designs are frequently attributed to American glass manufacturers such as Anchor Hocking, Hazel-Atlas, or McKee.
