Description
This lot features two 1:24 scale model vehicles manufactured by The Danbury Mint, constructed of die-cast metal with plastic and rubber components. The first vehicle is a 1933 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow Sedan finished in metallic silver with white-wall tires and a blue interior. It features opening doors, a detailed engine compartment, and a hood ornament. The second vehicle is a 1940 Ford Pickup Truck themed for Franklin’s Tree Farm. The truck is finished in forest green with red fenders and features numerous decorative graphics including Franklin’s Tree Farm logos, the slogan We bring ’em. You spruce ’em up!, and various holiday-themed text on the fenders and bed. It includes a removable miniature flocked Christmas tree accessory and a side-mounted spare tire. Each vehicle is accompanied by a Danbury Mint Certificate of Title to a Motor Vehicle Replica issued to the original owner, A. Balestra. Please note that the certificate for the Ford model identifies a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe in red, which does not match the body style or color of the pickup truck provided.
