Description

Attributed to Franklin Mint Precision Models, this lot consists of two detailed die-cast model cars with their original protective packaging. The first vehicle is a 1956 Ford Thunderbird finished in coral paint with a red and white two-tone interior. It features a removable porthole hardtop, a rear-mounted Continental kit spare tire carrier, and white-wall tires. Visible markings include 1956 on the rear license plate and the Thunderbird script on the rear fenders. The second vehicle is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible finished in dark blue with a light and medium blue two-tone interior. This model includes gold-toned trim accents, including the front and rear V-emblems and Chevrolet scripts, as well as dual rear-mounted antennas and white-wall tires. The rear license plate is marked 1957. Both models are accompanied by their original white cardboard mailer boxes with handling instructions. One box is specifically printed with the text The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. The Chevrolet model includes an attached auction tag from Atlee Raber Auctions.
