Description
This is an original theatrical one-sheet movie poster for the 1974 science fiction parody film Flesh Gordon. The poster is a color offset lithograph on paper. The central artwork is contained within a circular frame and is signed in the plate B. Gott 1972, attributed to artist Bruno Gott. The illustration depicts the characters Flesh Gordon and Dale Ardor in a classic heroic pose, surrounded by secondary characters, spacecraft, and a villainous figure. Above the main title is a text box stating NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE ORIGINAL FLASH GORDON. The lower portion features the title FLESH GORDON in large red block lettering above various production credits. Credits identify the film as a Graffitti Productions presentation, directed by Howard Ziehm and Michael Benveniste, starring Jason Williams, Suzanne Fields, and John Hoyt. The bottom margin includes the copyright notice ? Copyright 1974 Graffitti Productions, a GAU union bug, and the printer mark LITHO. IN U.S.A. The poster is unframed and retains its original theatrical folding pattern.
