Description
This set of 4 side chairs is crafted in a traditional Shaker or Early American style. The frames are constructed from a light colored hardwood with a warm honey toned finish. Each chair features a ladder back design with two horizontal slats and rear posts topped with simple turned finials. The seats are composed of woven wood splints in a basketweave pattern. The chairs are supported by turned front legs featuring ring turnings and multiple turned stretchers. One chair retains a modern inventory tag with a barcode, but no maker marks or signatures are present on the wood itself.
