Description
A trio of contemporary Americana folk art landscape paintings executed in acrylic on shaped wood panels. Each panel is designed with a gently arched top and features a distinct pastoral scene rendered in an opaque, graphic style. The first panel is painted on a light blue ground and depicts an expansive farmstead with a red barn, white picket fences, and various livestock including cows at a pond, a horse, and grazing sheep. The second panel is painted on a natural wood-finished ground and shows a classic red covered bridge spanning a stream in a mountainous landscape. The third panel, also on a light blue ground, features a picturesque grist mill with a prominent waterwheel situated by a calm body of water. All three works are signed Langelier in white cursive in the lower right corner.
