Michael Ricker limited edition steam locomotive sculptures, dated 1993. This lot features two static scale model locomotives cast in pewter and mounted on wooden bases with a walnut finish. The larger model is a 4-8-8-4 articulated steam locomotive modeled after the Union Pacific Big Boy, featuring detailed external plumbing, rivet work, and a multi-axle tender. The side of the pewter track base is cast with the signature copyright RICKER 1993 and features a hand-incised limited edition number of 846 / 2500. The smaller model is a tank-style steam locomotive with side-mounted water tanks, matching the larger piece in style and finish. These models represent historical rail equipment and were produced as part of a commemorative series, often associated with the Franklin Mint World’s Greatest Locomotives collection.
